Who We Are

Jessica Hellard, Co-FounderJessica is a local real estate broker (Kingston Real Estate Centre) who spent much of her spare time at the local animal shelter. During her work she noticed an urgent need for a rescue organization. After meeting with several other independent animal rescues and learning what was involved, she started down the road to begin Kingston Animal Rescue. Jessica has worked with local companies to get donations such as food, bedding, and more. She manages the Rescue's website, processes incoming animals and oversees the volunteer program. Jessica gets lots of help from her fiance Dan, and lives with many rescued animals: two cats Kitty and Mittens, and 2 lop rabbits Bunny and Bonny and 2 dwarf rabbits Alaska and Ivory. |

Alison Migneault, Co-FounderAlison has always been a huge animal lover and advocate for animal welfare. She joined Jessica in pulling together Kingston Animal Rescue during its early start-up. She has since been a huge help. Alison does a lot for us, including fundraising, accounting, marketing, and opening her home to foster animals. Her position in the marketing industry is a great asset for the Rescue. She is supported by her boyfriend Jordan. They live with their dog Chloe, their rescued cat Molly, and two wonderful bunnies: Ella and Nevan. |
